)) Day 20 of Flowering ((
Added a little PH up to last two waterings of Outdoor girls along with lots of Ionic Bloom, a little Florilicious, Cal & Silica as well as BudXL. Prebuds showing their first white hairs while indoor plants have well developed bud now with the Classic Blueberry clearly light years ahead of the Lemon Haze so the indoor lemon haze may not be all that far ahead of the outdoor haze. The race is on.
Indoors flushed yesterday will add back all of the above along with a little probiotics today. I was up to about an EC of 2.0 and I’ll back down to a max of 1.5 since they looked like they were getting ready to burn and not using nutrient from day to day. I think the BudXL really enhances uptake of nutrient at least judging from two grows now. In both cases when I start adding it, the plants showed signs of nutrient sensitivity and the BudXL claims to enhance movement and uptake of particularly sugars from the leaf into the bud?
anyway, really digging this "House & Garden Bud XL" it's obviously got some boom and pow to it. I'll be trying their finishing agent - Shooting Star (suger) again this grow but from the first grow, it seemed to do its job. The smell and taste are heavenly.
for my first commercial grow i'll be using all their products - well, not all! I like to use a bloom and grow formula along with a micronutrient formula (florilicious is what I've always used for this) and bacteria and microrganisms along with silica (used to call it Barricade?) and then the BudXL and Shooting Star to finish along with a little bit of cal/mag towards the middle of flowering and Bushmaster as needed with some plants or in some grow situations right around lights out and also I'll use liquid light in some situations to maintain a sea of green eveness - the liquid light I spray on stragglers to bring them up to the more vigirous plants and it kind of works. Doubt that I'll need the Bushmaster or Liquid Light in the commercial grow? Can't wait to find out!

Re: Lemon Haze & Blueberry grow
Sat, September 5, 2009 - 8:32 AM(probably the Florilicious is lacking in cal/mag and that is why i see that deficiency toward middle of flowering all the time - but I "know" Florilicious from years of use so I'd rather make up for somethng known than to fly in the dark?)
with outdoor plants I was very aggressive with both the cal/mag and the silica right from the start the hope being this will help them develop sturdy stalks and branches and even stronger leaf that are more bug and disease resistent which can be so important in outdoor plants -

Re: Lemon Haze & Blueberry grow
Sun, September 6, 2009 - 9:53 AMonly three weeks into flowering but blueberry shows classic difference from the haze growth. The blueberry is already developing a dense growth of bud within is tight internodes and the haze is much looser with much less developed buds.
from a grow point of view I'm really digging this blueberry its really vigorous and already the leaf is turning dark a harbinger of the purple to come. -

Re: Lemon Haze & Blueberry grow
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 6:55 AMoops
went to 11 hours dark instead of 13 hours dark
and i do this every time first the wrong way and then back with the very same timer!
stupid brain
they're so big i'll go 13 for a seven days and 14 dark and take the loss on the yield so i can make sure i get everything packed up for moving by the end of the month - for me it will still be plenty
"dont' worry about what you lose, exploit what you gain" mushroom uncles on moving forward -

Re: Lemon Haze & Blueberry grow
Thu, October 8, 2009 - 7:48 AMday 54 of flowering - not getting much smell from the blueberry but the amnesia lemon haze at least the indoor girl which is further ahead of the outdoor girls - proof enough for me regarding budding and light sodium light is better than sunlight fuck me woudln't have figured that - is smelling like lemon dish soap kind of? The outdoors girls are further behind by a week to ten days i'd guess
wife is in northern nm with camera but the indoor girls under the sodium light are getting buds like the last crop big around as a quart jar, even the lemon haze which in the outdoor girls the buds are stringy and sativa like - also, I suspect that the BudXL works much better in a hydro system really punching the nutes right into the buds man really like this BudXL product from House and Garden.
got knats in the outdoor girls and i hit the soil heavy with neem oil but it's too late in the game for them to cause too much trouble, little bastards
I'll say this about growing in soil: DON'T. It draws bugs and hydro growing especially inside an enclosed system is about a million times better and I simply don't buy this belief that soil grown weed is someone better - at least after many years of growing and comparing, i haven't seen this myself.
